While the final ascent to the Chola Pass is the most draining in this trek, In Sherpa communities, the Cho La Pass is also known as the Chhugyuma La.Major snow peaks in the Everest region, including Mt. Everest, can be seen after crossing the glacier lake.The trail continues downhill, icy and rocky, before reaching easier yak pastureland in Dzonglha at 4830 m (15842 ft). To cross Chola pass you have to be mentally prepared because it needs 6 hours of energetic walk and the good physical fitness for adapting in this high altitude.
