Annapurna Base Camp Trek start driving from Pokhara to Hile where we start our trek. We start trekking by gradually ascending to the beautiful varied landscape of cultivated terrace fields and lust forests of oaks, magnolia and rhododendron trees along the route to Ghorepani. Early morning hike to Poon hill (3230 meters) gives you the best possible panoramic sunrise view of the whole fabulous Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. On the way to Tadapani, Chomrong and Dovan, we will be rewarded by the outstanding views of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Huinchuli. We will pass by Chomrong, a large Gurung village. We will also pass by the wooded area filled with bamboo and rhododendron trees beside the Modi River and reach Dovan. Then we will walk for 6 hours to get to Annapurna Base Camp lying at the elevation of 4130m (13546ft.) via Machhapuchhre base camp which is beautifully set on the northern side of the extremely large Mt. Machhapuchhre. Walking for around 4 hours we will reach at Annapurna Base Camp which enthralls us with the striking views of the world’s tenth highest Annapurna I ( 8,091 m), Mt. Machhapuchhre Annapurna South, Huinchuli and more. On the way back from base camp, we stop to enjoy the hot springs in Jhinu Danda.
