Bhote Koshi originates from the melting snows of Zhangzanbo (8,012 m) Glacier in Tibet. The river is extremely wild and its gradient is the steepest in Nepal. You can finish rafting on Bhote Koshi in a single day  or can be extend few days. So, if you are short of time, yet crave for extreme adrenaline rush, then this is the package for you.The river is very challenging and even a look down to the river will make most people feel dizzy. Bhotekoshi Overnight Rafting Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Drive from Kathmandu to Rafting starting point 3:30 hrs driver rafting about 3 hrs and Overnight at tented camp.

From Kathmandu we will drive to Khadichour which will take around 3:30 hours. After the professional guides brief you about safety and paddling instructions, we will get ready to start our river journey. We will hit continuous rapids of class 3. After rafting for around 16 kilometers, we will reach at a river bank and set up our camps there or go drive back to Kathmandu as per your interest. 

Day 2

Morning Rafting on second part and drive back to Kathmandu

We will start the final day of our rafting and head off to Kathmandu by private transportation. It’s going to be challenging day as we will hit a lot of rapids of class 3 and class 4+ like Barking Dog, Midnight Special and the Great Wall which aren’t run able. After an hour of rafting, we will again hit so major rapids like Liquid Bliss, Fake Right Go Left and Golden Gate and reach our take out point, i.e. the Sukute beach. We will have a nice and warm lunch at the beach and head back to Kathmandu which will take around 3.5 hours.

  • Professional English speaking licensed guides highly trained and safety certified to international standards in Whitewater River Guiding, Swift Water Rescue, and Wilderness First Aid

  • Insurance policy: paddlers need to have their own insurance since we only provide insurance to our crew.
  • Tips for guides – we pay our guides fairly but if you want you can tip them personally.

Types of food provided:

We provide boiled water for drinking. We serve the fresh  breakfast, lunch and dinner during our rafting in a buffet style. So, yes you have the freedom to choose what you like. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know about it at the time of booking, so that we can arrange as per your request. 

Food what we serve: 

Breakfast: Tea, Coffee, White chocolate, Muesli and Cornflakes, Yogurt. Eggs, Toast, Hashed potatoes, Pancakes, Porridge  etc.
Lunch : Bread, Cheese, Salami, Tuna, Sardines, Baked beans, Salads, Fresh fruits and Biscuits
Dinner: Pasta, French fries, Curries, Steamed or Fried vegetables. We may provide Nepali Dal, Bhat in rotation for longer trips.
