He worked part-time in a trekking company while studying at university. During this time, he gained valuable experience in hospitality and started organizing small private treks and tours for individuals.
With many years of experience in the travel industry, he became an expert trek and tour leader and operator. He designs special tour and trekking packages based on guests’ time, interests, and preferences. He loves trekking and is always eager to share his knowledge and experience with his clients. Durga personally manages and organizes all trips and logistics. He works closely with local guides to make sure every trip runs smoothly without problems. He has over 15 years of experience in the travel industry and has worked with leading travel companies in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.
Before starting his own company, Trekking Plus, he gained strong experience guiding in the Himalayas. He also travels internationally to promote trekking and tours in Nepal. From 2015 to 2019, he traveled across Southeast Asia and Europe, visiting countries like Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland. These experiences helped him understand different cultures and expand his global knowledge. Durga grew up in Bandipur, a beautiful and authentic village in Nepal known for its homestay culture. In Nepali culture, guests are treated with great respect and always put first. This value is the foundation of how Durga runs his company. Through unique tours and treks across Nepal, he aims to contribute to a better future for Nepal and its people.
