Anand Sharma is one of our senior Trekking leaders at Trekking Plus. With over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry, he possesses extensive knowledge of the Himalayas, local cultures, and the art of trekking. Mr. Sharma born in Darjeeling, famously known as the “Queen of the Hills,” Anand has always been captivated by mountains and nature. After completing his education, he moved to Nepal to pursue a career in tourism.
Over the past 25 years, Anand has worked as a guide across Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan. Before joining us, he used to worke with some of the world’s most renowned international adventure companies. For the last 4 years, Mr. Anand has been an invaluable part of our team, building an excellent rapport with our clients through his expertise and friendly approach.
His profound understanding of local traditions, cultures, mountains, and even medicinal plants makes him an exceptional guide. In addition to his extensive trekking experience, Anand has also traveled, lived, and worked in the United Kingdom and Ireland for 5-6 years, further enriching his global perspective and communication skills. With his deep passion for the mountains and a wealth of experience, Anand ensures that every trek is a memorable and insightful journey.
