Bandipur Village Tour Detail Itinerary

Bandipur village is a living museum of Newari culture, a beautifully preserved village crowning a lofty ridge above the highway stop of Dumre the mid stop of Prithvi highway. Which connects Kathmandu and Pokhara. Lying on the hills, this place gives the majestic view of the traditionally well preserved ancient cultural houses. You can enjoy the view of some beautifully snow capped mountains too.

Bandipur lies in Tanahun district. This place once was a trading route between Tibet and India. This place is famous for its ancient culture. The well preserved Newari culture for being the hill station and its rural tourism. Time seems to have stood still here, although it has taken a lot of effort to conserve the enchantment while developing the settlement as a destination.

  • Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
    Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Trekking Plus representative meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your hotel. Our representative will help you check into your hotel. Evening we will have authentic nepal meal as a welcome meal and finalize about out tour.

  • Day 02: Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
    Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. Kathmandu valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and Western influence. In the morning after having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple, Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan Durbar square.

  • Day 03: Drive to Bandipur
    Early morning we take tourist bus from Kathmandu to Bandipur which is at the distance of 148 km and takes about 4 hours. As we reach Bandipur we will be greeted by the loom of Himalayan vista which includes Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Today we will visit Bindabasini Temple, the temple of Khadga Devi and stroll around traditional Bandipur village. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 04: Day Hike to Ramkot
    Early morning we enjoy with sunrise and mountain view. We start our hike uphill to the Magar village of Ramko to witness their tradition or lifestyle. If the weather is fair enough the village offers the phenomenal vista of Annapurna and Manaslu. In the evening we will explore Raniban. Stay overnight at Bandipur.

  • Day 05: Explore Siddha Cave - One of biggest cave in Nepal
    Early in the morning after the breakfast, we hike to Siddha cave following the dense forest for around two hours. This recently discovered cave is 437m long and 45 m high which makes it the largest cave in Asia. Further, trek down to Bimalnagar to witness the traditional Newar village. Drive back to Bandipur from Bimalnagar to hike back same way to Bandipur.

  • Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu
    After breakfast, we drive to Dumre to catch tourist bus back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon you can do some shopping and walk around Thamel or local market.

  • Day 07: Final departure or join other trek/tour
    After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home sweet home or joing other trek / tour in Nepal.
